#283: Atlanta, Ga band, Pistols At Dawn!
Atlanta, GA-based hard-hitting active rock band PISTOLS AT DAWN deliver instantly catchy sing-along anthems and headbang-inducing melodies while taking inspiration from universal hard rock acts such as Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. The band, which features VH1 Rockstar Supernova finalist Chris Pierson on vocals, self-released their debut EP, NOCTURNAL YOUTH, earlier this year which was recorded with producer Jeff Tome i(Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox 20) and mastered by lauded engineer Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More). The EP’s first single “Voices” received over 1 million video views within the first month of release and additional videos for singles, “Cold,” “Gauntlet,” and “Crown” have amassed 6 million combined views across all platforms. The band reformed in 2019 with founding members, drummer Adam Jaffe, guitarist Devin White and bassist Billy Sullivan while adding Tommy Richardson on guitars and Pierson on vocals. The band is currently completing tracking their debut full length LP, which will be mixed by Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of A Down) and will be released in early 2022.
